About Daycare

At CHEEC our team is passionate about their learning strategies. They dedicate their day to your child's education and learning experiences. We promote a safe and nurturing environment to give your child that sense of security so they can be their best.

All program supervisors are Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECEs).

Staff Development

Each year our staff have the advantage to participate in several seminars in child development. These seminars are available within our community at different organizations. This gives our team the advantage to remain current on recent child education and development.

Staff to Student Ratio

All staff to student ratios are monitored carefully and reflect the requirements of the Childcare and Early Years Act.

The following chart gives you the required ratios for each program.

Infant Program
1 Staff for every 3 students

Preschool Program
1 Staff for every 8 students

Camps
1 Staff for every - 15 students

Toddler Program
1 Staff for every 5 students

School Age Program
1 Staff for every 13 students 5 years and under OR 1 Staff for every 15 students ages 6 and up
